Cardiac Clinic is a healthcare facility in Santa Barbara, California, designed by Canyon Collective within a historic structure, where preservation and brand continuity guide the experience of space. Existing architectural elements—exposed beams, original volumes, and residential proportions—are intentionally retained, creating a setting that feels familiar and grounded rather than clinical. The design introduces a refined material palette and spatial language drawn from the studio’s newer medical projects, establishing consistency across locations without direct repetition.
